Default Improve Fast Casting suggestion.

There is always like a 1 second recovery time every single time you finish casting a spell, and I'm talking about that short interval you expericance between the end of the spells casting, and before you are able to move. It spoils the effect of fast casting if it is going to take the same time to transition to perform your next action.

To better clarify this, I would like FC altered so that it shortens the downtime between actions, this would allow you to perform another action much faster. I mean, it's nice that we have an attribute that can be made irrelevant with a 20% mod of half spell recharge, but adding in this feature will make the primary attribute more... well at least it will be on par with all of the other classes

Why would you want to buff something that is already fine?

I think what Terra meant is the annoying 1 second wait after spell casting. Because of that i can't make an effective echo-flame burst for example. I'm not asking anet to remove it, but lessen it. Ideally 1/4 second only.

I think the "aftercast" varies from spell to spell and is intended as a way of balancing the skills.

EDIT: For example, from the July 13th update

Quote:
Conjure Nightmare: removed the long pause after this spell was cast.
Also, the definition of aftercast from Guildwiki:

Quote:
Aftercast refers to the period of time after a character casts a spell in which they cannot move or use skills with cast times. During this time your character cannot move about the map but can still use stances and shouts. Aftercast is 0.75 seconds for all spells except for PBAoE's such as Crystal Wave and Aftershock, where it is 1.75 seconds.

oh no that conjure nightmare had the 1.75 aftercast, that was shocking before they fixed it.

Well I dont mean for them to shorten the aftercast time equally, I mean, the most you can reduce the casting time is by half at rank 15, how about doing the same thing to the aftercast? The FC attribute also has a diminishing gain with higher rank in its attribute Link:. With exception to the assassin's primary attribute, all other classes have a fixed gain.
